The all new Moto X range is a unicorn in the kitesurfing industry. Normal development practices take an already known conventional product and try to give it a boost by adding new materials, often losing out in certain performance aspects as new materials are introduced. The Moto X range has gone the other way for 2025.

Using the Moto X DW kite as a benchmark, Cabrinha tasked designers with making the Apex kite perform as close as possible to the Aluula framed version.

The outcome is the ultimate in performance freeride, able to take whatever style of riding you do to the next level. Big Air, Freeride, Wave. Everything is possible on this Jack of all trades kite.

3 Strut, moderate aspect ratio hybrid design, Reactive wing tip, Fast, lean and efficient profiles.
 

Expandapack Kite Bag
An all NEW stylish expanding backpack allows for fast packdown and comfy transportation of your kite, pump and control system. Easily Expands to carry multiple kites in one bag, leading to more adventure and less faff!

Bulletproof Bumpers
These Durable TPU bumpers are strong, lightweight and durable. They crossover protecting the canopy to LE sewing. A new manufacturing process helps with abrasion when the kite is resting on a hard surface

Apex Bridle
Apex bridles are thinner and have lower elongation that optimises efficiency and steering. The reduced diameter lines increase airflow efficiency as airflow passes between the lines

Forward Drive
The Moto’s unique profiles combined with the reduced coning of the arc shape allow the Moto to fly incredibly fast through the wind window

3 Strut Platform
Aluula is inherently very stiff with less deformation compared to normal dacrons, it enabled the design team to decide on a 3 strut platform giving it a lighter weight and increased turning response
